Child Safety Standards
Effective date: June 13, 2026. Chalein is intended for people aged 18 and older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Prohibited Content And Conduct
Chalein prohibits child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of a minor, trafficking, sexualized images of minors, links to such material, attempts to obtain it, and any conduct that exploits or endangers a child. This applies to activities, profiles, photos, comments, direct messages, place suggestions, and every other part of the service.
How To Report
Inside Chalein, use Report on an activity or person, or open Profile > Settings > Report urgent safety concern. Reports are sent to a restricted moderator queue. You can also email the child-safety contact at chalein.app.help@gmail.com. Do not attach or forward suspected illegal imagery by email; provide the account, activity, or message context instead.
Our Response
Chalein reviews child-safety reports as a priority. We may remove content, preserve relevant records, restrict or delete accounts, block contact between users, and prevent repeat abuse. When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material or exploitation, we will report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or the appropriate regional law-enforcement authority as required by applicable law.
